i actually don't think i'd change anything! i feel very happy as a crow and don't feel like i'm missing or desiring another part of myself. when i discover a new kintype it's like this feeling of something pulling at me and then finally finding it and clicking into place. i don't really get that feeling right now and i can't imagine what it would be like to be another species. my reasoning basically comes down to feeling satisfied and complete as a crow.
if i had to pick another species though, i love cats and relate to them quite a bit. i also like the idea of being a mythological or more fantastical species as i think that would be an interesting perspective. i've seen some people here talk about customs or communication among their species and i find that very interesting. i don't really have anything comparable to that.
limio: I'm pretty happy with my kintypes, but I'd like to also become a repenomamus, cause now repenomami are kind of in a identity limbo for me. I don't know if I do or don't identify as one.
Probably a thylacine. They have been one of my favorite animals forever, and I still absolutely adore them. In all honesty, I could probably consider thylacines a heart-type if I really wanted to. I've just not put much thought into being otherhearted myself.
Snakes! I am Snake-hearted and have always adored them. I'm planning to tattoo my whole arm with various snake related imagery. They would definitely be my pick.
A lot of other monstrous forms would be dope for me but if I were to bring the edge down a tad then definitely some sort of canine. I love canines and feel very strongly connected to them on a deeper level. It's honestly amazing that I don't have a canine theriotype.
I’d pick a Belgian Malinois! Simply because of their contributions in the US military. I sincerely wanted to be a dog when I was younger. I asked my mother to refer to me as one from then on out. Domestic canines have always been subconsciously necessary for my coping throughout my lifetime without acceptance from outside family members. It’s extremely deep rooted as a coping mechanism almost like I cannot breathe without regular canine companionship to allow me to comfortably understand and connect with at least someone genuinely.

I would be a shapeshifter so I could transform into literally anything I wanted lol, whenever i wanted. I'm greedy. Mildly jealous of my daemon Bryoria due to him being able to do just that.
('TYPES:) - Felidae cladotherian. - Eevee/vaporeon. - Various AU fictotypes/OCkins. (KITHS:) - Deer, horses, bovines. - All pinnipeds.
Host/body of an endogenic system called Harmonious.
I'd keep the eldritch type for sure, but if I had to pick a new one, I'd go with a garden snail. I love the little guys, and they do surprisingly well for themselves. I kept some as pets for a year and it's interesting how much character they each have. Food and handling preferences, favorite sleeping spots, snails they spend more time around than others, light tolerances, whether they like sitting in the water dish or not, etc. I would love to be one.
as much as i love being an anomalocaris, id unironically chose to be a black wolf with red eyes. say what you want about them but that part of the community was definitely onto something, that shit is sick as hell.
I actually really like my kintypes. I don't think I would change them. Being a wolf is sort of the basis of my entire identity. And, for the most part, I love being a gryphon. Even the kitsune has grown on me to the point that I wouldn't change it.
If I had to change, though, I'm going to answer this as a sort of "change each kintype" sort of deal. I have two wolf theriotypes: a Canadian timber wolf and an African golden wolf. If I had to change them, I think I would choose a snow leopard and a carrion crow. Snow leopards are actually very similar to my gryphon kintype. Their build, with the low-slung body, big paws, and extremely long, thick tail fits my gryphon almost exactly. The fur is different, in that it isn't designed to be water repellant, but it's still very thick. The climate in which they live is not terribly unlike my timber wolf. The landscape is different, but the climate really isn't all that much. As to the crow, carrion crows are pretty much your standard crows you see everywhere in Eastern North America. They're also quite intelligent. I'm crowkith and I've felt deeply connected to them my whole life. I've often wished I could be a crow. So if I had to change from my wolves, I would be a crow.
I also have two kintypes: a coastal gryphon and a kiko kawa kitsune. There is... a whole lot of water going on there. My gryphon self lived on the shore of an ocean and the "kawa" part of my kitsune classification denotes that I was a river elemental. So much water. If I had to change them, though, my first thought was "dragon." I do often wish I was a dragon rather than a gryphon. You can't turn around in a 'kin space without tripping over dragons, but I've never met another gryphon. I've looked, and I've talked to folks who've met others, but I've not found any. Which is sort of lonely. But I'd want to be some sort of dragon with a connection of some kind to water. As to what I would choose in place of my kitsune if I had to, I would choose a black dog - a creature from the folklore of the Brittish Isles. Specifically, a gytrash. Gytrash are a type of spirit that haunts lonely roads. They can appear as huge, black dogs, but also as horses, mules, cranes, and according to some lore, even cows. They often mislead travelers, but they do sometimes act benevolently and guide lost travelers back to the correct road. I find black dog lore fascinating and the gytrash has always been my favorite. Also, it's a shapeshifter and a trickster, like my kitsune, although not in the same capacity on either count. And it's a spirit creature. The "kiko" in my classification denotes that I was a spirit fox no longer bound to the physical plane. So that fits as well. So really, if I had to change from my kitsune, I'd be a gytrash.
