Right now, most user badges are broken. This is because the badges are sourced from the mutant standard emoji website. Since the website's directory (and therefore the location of the source images) keep getting updated, badges will keep breaking and admins will have to keep updating the links as long as the badges are sourced from the site itself.
I propose that instead of sourcing badges directly from the site, a mirror site or repository be created to host the source images instead. Next time admins are fixing broken badges, use the mirror as a source, and you'll never have to do it again barring the mirror being taken down.
I suggest using github to mirror the images, since mutant standard maintains several repos there already, the site is unlikely to disappear overnight with no warning, and accounts are free with no data limit. fork this repo and remove any unnecessary files, then use the images in the repo as the source for the badges.

Thanks for pointing this out and proposing that solution! We'll definitely be fixing the issue as best we can. ^^'

I swear we haven't forgotten about this! I've fixed the symbols from the Mutant Standard Emoji set, using the advice of toxin (thank you so much again!), but some of the flags and emojis that have disappeared from other places where we acquired them are a little more of a time sink to adjust: we not only need to find them again, but I'm dedicated to also adjusting them like we have in the past to make them be a closer "match" to the Mutant Standard Emojis, and then uploading them to a stable location. I'm sorry this issue still isn't entirely fixed yet.
