...what would it be? It's a silly question for sure, but one I like to ponder. If you could pick your kintype/theriotype/fictotype/etc. what would you pick? Why? Or maybe you wouldn't change anything, but if not, also why? For me, honestly, if I could choose I'd be a king caste xenomorph and a Tyrannosaurus rex. I think xenomorph shifts would be super neat to experience, and AvP has been a huge interest of mine for ages, so I've already got a big bias towards the xenos. Plus, king xenomorphs have one hell of an aesthetic going on--I mean, just look at that crest! And then T. rexes just have always been kind of special to me, to the point where I've got a visible T. rex skull tattoo on one of my arms, so how could I not want to be one, too? I would simply become a dragon. They keep cropping up near me, mythologically significant and never explaining why. I understand them well enough that everyone compliments me at writing them so well. They're not hard: a bit smarter than you'd expect, magically powerful, likes their hoards, a little greedy, a little proud, never the bad guy anymore but everyone knows better than to piss them off. That sounds like the dream, tbh.

So I said elsewhere I wouldn't change my kintypes, but also I might be a giraffe just because they're frankly weird as all hell. Like if you showed me a giraffe and a unicorn and I didn't know earth's animals, I would probably think the unicorn was the one here naturally.
The second option is the Meowingtons robot from the Professional Griefers music video. Like at times I get fundamentally mad that I'm not that robotic cat lmao. I should be that robotic cat and the fact that I'm not is a literal outrage.

On the topic though, I really don't think I'd change it any other way. Dragon and shapeshifter is a very good combo. Perhaps a shapeshifter that don't have limitations so I can actually shift to other species? |

I actually quite enjoy being a wolverine and don't think I would change it - but if I absolutely HAD to pick a different one (not just another mustelid as well) I'd go with horse, probably a Przewalski horse instead of a domestic one. From time to time I get horse cameos anyway so it wouldn't feel too off to identify as a horse, you know?

I answered this one on werelist but I'll answer here too.
I am happy with what I am now, but just for the sake of fun I think I would be either some kind of large parrot or an African elephant. As both of these are some of my favourite animals. Elephants already have some superficial similarities to my actual theriotype, so it wouldn't be too unfamiliar. Intelligent, social, matriarchal and they live in the same part of the world.

I'd want to be a parrot ( though preferably cockatiel because they are cute) and an elephant but for different reasons, mostly those reasons are because I like them and find them interesting. And I'm sure that the phantom shifts would be pretty fun to have. I'd also want to be a cheetah. I used to be completely obsessed with them as a little kid and are still one of my favorite animals |

Probably just a regular cat, not Warriors-kin. Or if I could change my fictotype I'd probably go with a character who has more content and is more liked.
A Dragon or dinosaur would be neat too. So would a Pokemon, I'm a little jealous of my Mew headmate since that seems like a fun thing to be.

I think i’d be a bunny! They’re highly sensitive similar to how I am irl and I would love that feeling to have some comfort of a kin type. Plus bunnies are so cute? I’d definitely be a lionhead. Floof to the max.

I'm a cat and nightfuries are juuust cat enough that sometimes I look at them and go "what do you mean this is not me? is cat?" and then I realize they're scaled and winged and spit... something? fire? 10/10 would still pick them if I could choose though.
