Human hands are so useful!! I definitely want cat paws, but using computers and trying to draw would be so difficult with no opposable thumbs. Being able to speak is really cool too. I like how i can think of an idea in my mind and then send that idea to someone else’s mind just by using a specific order of mouth noises or by putting a bunch of squiggles in a specific order.
“In short, I have no calling, and follow none, not even the calling to be human.”
I like my hair, tbh. It doesn't feel very "me" because the color isn't right, but I think red hair is pretty, and I like how my hair is kind of wavy and has natural blonde/brown highlights if you look closely. I used to love my brown eyes as a kid because I thought it made me look like a dog. I love how creative my brain is, even though I hate my brain most of the time lol. I think my small hands are kind of cute and make me feel kind of puppyish. I appreciate that I was born physically female instead of male because while Gender is Weird and I'm dysphoric about some things, girls are cute and I'd rather be AFAB than AMAB.

I love my blue eyes - dingoes' brown eyes is actually the part about them I relate to least and sometimes wonder if I would have eye color dysphoria or something if I became physically a dingo. I also really enjoy having really small hands and being short (I'm 5').
I also love my tattoos and overall style. I definitely appreciate the ability to self express in ways I wouldn't be able to as a canine.
I love being short and light-average weight, it makes me feel like I'm closer to my theriotypes' weights/statures. And, at the risk of sounding weird, I love the skin color I was born with- baboons have dark-ish skin, as do hyenas, so having darker skin makes me feel closer in that regard too I do also appreciate having hands, especially at times where I'm feeling more baboon than hyena. I don't like wearing clothing and I'd be a full time nudist if I could, but I do appreciate being able to customize and express myself via clothing. I like that I can communicate to others what I'm about without having to speak with them.

I like my wrists and hands! My wrists might be considered kind of knobbly, but I enjoy that they're delicate looking. And while I do get super dysphoric at times about hands and have moments of wtf are those, being a crafty sort of person, I'm incredibly grateful that I get to try painting, sewing, baking, crocheting, decorating, jewellery making etc. Hooves don't do that! I feel even weirder about my legs and feet, but I do like that my toes are really quite mobile and grabby, it's always kinda amusing.
I have a good sense of smell. I have to smell everything lol. If nothing else it amuses the people around me!
I like that the tips of my hair will curl into ringlets as it dries, if I don't brush them out.
Stories and music must be some of the very best things about being human - I'm not personally good at either, but getting to enjoy and appreciate reading, music, singing, storytelling, theatre etc makes me incredibly glad to be here and get to experience other people's creativity!
Laughter. Totally the best feeling. I think canines sense humor, but they don’t really laugh. I like to laugh until I can’t breathe... what a great and totally bonkers body function. Very glad to be able to do that.
As for things about my specific body for which I am grateful... well, I guess I’m glad to be a small person. I still feel too large and tall at my minuscule scale. But I’d maybe feel even weirder if I were built like a linebacker.
Now that I’m in better shape, I am pretty cool with the rangy way I am built and the sharpness of my features. It feels coyote-like and right. A lot of the dysphoria is lessened quite a bit these days.
I also like how thick my hair is, haha! And I guess I have kind of cool eyes, though it doesn’t often photograph well (green and centrally heterochromatic).

I'm humanoid, but our body is different from mour headspace form(s). Even if we struggle with color vision to a small extent, it's nice to be able to see, since in the headspace wei're blind. It's also a benefit to not have to deal with managing cold-bloodedness. Hair can also be kind of fun, so is having skin.

ai like the way our skin looks like soft caramel when we stand out in the sun. ai like the way our black heritage allows us to have such beautiful hair!! [though we need to take care of it better ;-;] ai like how flexible this body is! our ability to customize and improvise in creative environments is also very nice :]]
Although I'd take the shape of most of my kintypes in an instant, there are definitely things I like about my human body, even if I forget that sometimes! This is a nice thread for sure, to remind ourselves that there are things to enjoy about our bodies even if they aren't necessarily the right ones.
I definitely love the range of color vision humans have - I love love love colors, and I think I'd be sad to have washed-out or limited color vision like many animals do.
I also like that I can get tattoos - I don't know how that would be possible with fur or scales! I've actually tried to think of an alternative for tattoos in an anthro feline body, and the best I could figure is fur dye, but that's not at all the same thing.
My writing ability is also something I really pride myself on, it's one of the few things about myself specifically that I'm confident about. I love being able to write and read, so I'd miss that if I weren't able to do so anymore. Sort of along that line of thought, having language and being able to communicate both in person and through technology is something that I wouldn't want to lose.
