thank you for doing my previous requests, could you do one that says ‘this user can’t use/understand tone indicators’ ? i have trouble understanding them due to my ND and want people to know that when communicating with me. thanks!
can somebody tell me what fonts they're using in these? I tried pixel fonts (power, power green, etc) but they weren't readable.
I'm a professional pixel artist so I'm using a professional pixel art program, *specifically* built for pixel. It's called Aseprite. It's like 30$ I think? I believe I'm using candraii (something thats italicized and starts with C lol), size 11, no anti-aliasing, and then I AA manually. Normal photo editing programs or drawing programs likely wont be able to do this :0/ I forgot to yesterday but at some point today I'll edit my original post to include a full alphabet, numbers, and punctuation I use in a PNG so anyone who wants to use the same font can just copy and paste :0)
Also if this post is ugly Im sorry, its my first time posting from mobile LOL

oh ok. I'll probably keep using OpenDyslexic since it seems readable enough (if you look at my sig I used that font for the middle bites edit and the transspecies and gendervoid ones. there's a weird gap in transspecies I should go back and manually edit)

Hey sorry but we're very, very uncomfortable with being called alter, and any medical system term. A lot of systems, especially non-medical ones like us, try to avoid the term and even some medical systems find it dehumanizing or uncomfortable.
It's not really a problem for me, idk what to put instead though lol. headmates? sysmates?.... ssoomething else? I dont know if either of those will fit in but I can still try to make it work
this actually brings up something i want to mention in this thread, i posted something in the first post about it, but if someone wants something specific (wording, colours, icon, whatever,) please be specific or emphasize that the wording/capitals/whatever is important to you. making these does take time & i'd rather not waste time on one possibly being incorrect and have to remake it when i can be filling another request entirely. if none of that matters to you that's fine too! but if it is, emphasize.
(not directed at you Dinic, I've just been meaning to mention this & this is good of segue than any. I know this isn't what you requested and I made it on my own pretty much /gen)

I think between myself and Mew we're a bit frontstuck, but I wanted to go ahead and answer this.
I feel like "this user is a system" might still work? Headmates is also usually a safe bet and that's what we use for ourselves.
Sorry we should have specified, I don't think we realized that people might not be aware that the term alter is very uncomfortable for many systems, but it's completely understandable that you might not know that. The userboxes look great though!
No longer using this account, still up for archive. Sorry if posts were awkwardly worded!

No problem at all, thank you Swiftpaw <3 very sorry if I've made you (or anyone else) uncomfortable with that userbox; I genuinely didn't know that word is medical-system specific or that it may make some endogenic systems uncomfortable. if it's better to delete it completely from this thread, please let me know :0) "This user is part of a system" is part of the original posts!
Once I get back around to making userboxes, I'll add "Multiple headmates use this account" or something similar. For now I'm taking a bit of a break so I can focus on work art :0) (Hopefully nobody's too upset about this. It'll likely only be a few days)
PS: I'm loving seeing everyone's unique userboxes! Please feel free to post them in this thread if you'd like to :0)
How are people adding so many onto their signature ;-; we're trying to add more but it can only fit this much (4)
Personally, I copied the different userboxes into somewhere I could edit images (I used powerpoint because I no lon ger have access to adobe illustrator/photoshop). I arranged the userboxes how I wanted them, grouped the images into a single image, saved it as a picture, and used that picture for my signature. So instead of having multiple images in my signature, it's a single image of all of the userboxes. This does mean that if i want to change the arrangement I need to recreate the whole process.
