I haven't got the chance to play alot of games recently, but i've been getting back into viscera cleanup. (it's a game where you visit different testing sites where horrible accidents have happened, and your job is to make it look like everything is brand new)
I am also a massive fan of rain world, which is a 2d survival exploration platformer. You play as a little slugcat on an alien world, in which everything wants to kill you and is about 10x stronger than you. You can interact with the world, like hunting down the giant lizards that want to eat you, trading with the scavengers, and even taming the lizards! There is no day/night cycle in this alien world. The day ends when the rain starts to fall, which is so hard that it can kill you via blunt force & flood the whole map. You can only survive the rain by hiding in underground little shelters. These shelters are also your save point lol.
Haven't been playing much in terms of games recently. The ones that I did play are Outer Wilds (the Echoes of the eye DLC), Metroid Dread (fantastic game and so glad to see Samus back in action) and a, recently released, romhack of Zelda 2 (brand new story/campaign) which has been just a fantastic time as well.
I recently got a Switch lite which has dominated my two remaining brain cells for the last two weeks lol My current games I am obsessively playing: New Pokemon Snap, Pokemon Shield, Jurassic World Evolution, and Sparkle Zero. I am loving the two Pokemon games atm, and the open world-styles really make for immersive gameplay. Jurassic World is cool bc dinosaurs (who doesn't love watching dinosaurs), and Sparkle is just the right level of chill and alien for it to be fun for me.

i'm playing the new Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy video game and it's great. it has a whole lot of comic lore and references and all the characters are written really well!
ripley's believe it or not made me who i am today ------ oh no a full moon!!! get away before i transform into a horrible monster that just wants treats and tummy rubs!!!
COD: Warzone, mainly. Yes, as toxic as it is, it is my favorite game. A bit of rogue company.
I tend to prefer realistic visuals and multiplayer fps over deep storylines and meaningful substance, unfortunately.
I do enjoy social virtual world spaces! (i.e., SecondLife, VRChat.) I definitely need to find one to really get back into. I just haven't found my place within them now that I am older.

i've been playing a lot of vrchat lately! and a game called Potion Craft (via steam) that i'm enjoying a lot :] it's early access, and you mix potions in it!
I've been spotty on games due to my work schedule, but when I have the time I'm jumping between Apex Legends and Breath of the Wild, with a little Animal Crossing sprinkled around.
We've been playing a lot of Monster Hunter World, to satisfy our prey drives, and some Friday Night Funkin' while we wait for the game's full release. They're both soooo much fun.
between life and work there hasn't been much time for games, but i've been playing animal crossing when i get the chance. it's so relaxing and the new dlc has really breathed new life into the game. i'll get to play it some more soon when this semester ends.

{L} we have an IRL friend group that keeps in touch partly through discord/games (civ, league of legends, various FPSs), and the one that we play the most is league, which we enjoy for the strategic aspects and occasional fun lore bits...but the online player base tends to be pretty toxic, unfortunately, so we don't exactly recommend it Had a lot of fun playing a couple of older fire emblem games with our housemate, though! The series is one of their childhood favorites, which we'd missed out on entirely.
I haven't really been playing any games, I don't think you'd call coloring apps video games. I have however been watching a few people play Skyrim on Twitch
