Looking for material on shapeshifters for research

Hey all! I know my presence here is kinda sporadic at times...however, I wanted to reach out and ask for help with a thing.

I have a bit of a special interest in shapeshifters (I know, *surprising* coming from the shapeshifterkin X'3) and am wanting to do my own personal research project on lore, symbolism, and general history of their presence across many cultures. As such, I am trying to compile a list of reliable resources I can read through, and wanted to ask if anyone out there might have stumbled across something like that?

If it helps, I am specifically researching "shapeshifter" in the sense of something that is simultaneously and/or moves between being human and animal, or that explores such a boundary. Werewolves/lycanthropes are the most prominent example of this! I will happily look at material that talks about therianthropy/otherkinity as well, if it ties in with that concept!
