plus it doesn't even work how it's supposed to. you're telling me if I perform the "run" action I'll have to wait a recharge period every once in a while? no one has time for that! and even if the body isn't doing anything, just "stand up" needs lots of energy to maintain! poor design, I give it a 1/10 only because I can listen to music with it
The materials: 4/5 Flesh and viscera are quite easy to rip and tear and rend, which you would think is a bad thing, but personally I find the delicate detailing morbidly amusing and fun. Blood is fantastic, but would love a few different color options. Would love to also have a greater capacity for blood (without consequences) Skin is alright, could stand to be tougher and come in more hues. Don't like how the corporeal human form community as a whole evaluates skin colors. Very toxic. Bones, and particularly skeletons, look pretty cool but should have a patch for general durability and I want to be able to show them before vessel death. Would love to some more non-organic and non-natural materials incorporated.
The senses: 3/5 Eyesight is a little bit buggy, but the glasses patch for it, while imperfect, does look cool. Sometimes some of the sensitivity settings glitch out and go way too high. Would love not to experience this. I feel as though all of these senses could have expanded ranges.
The movement: 1/5 Range and speed of motion are meh. Higher speeds and more flexibility would be highly worth it. Severely lacking in individual flight capability.
The maintenance: 1/5 Demands a lot of sleep, which I don't like. Fueling method is fun, but large swaths of the community are so toxic about it. Constant cleaning demands can get annoying. It's satisfying to clean something when it's dirty, but it shouldn't get dirty so often. Handling of viruses and other malware could stand to be less volatile. It's inconvenient.
Overall rating: 2.25/5 Has potential but could definitely use some work.

Awful experience. The model I ordered looks *nothing* like what was pictured on the product page, and it was the wrong design. Customer service has been unresponsive and when I finally did get a reply, it was to "make it a diy project to look more like the product image". At least it works as intended but buyer beware.
Hey chat, I know you have been anticipating my review of EarthLife:Homo sapiens! I'm going to disclose at the start that I have already used the EarthLife:Urocyon cinereoargenteus pack and after I finish I was offered a free upgrade to the Homo sapiens pack. This review, however, is not being sponsored.
In EarthLife:Homo sapiens your model is randomized, you can unlock customization later in the game after the tutorial but it doesn't give you full control so the base you got is pretty much the base you are stuck with. Every model has semi-randomized code that are pretty unique to them and can be looked up through their dna.
My model, like many others I have seen, does come with some unique bugs. These are determined my the manufactures of your model for the most part, but sometimes you can acquire bugs through basic use. Speaking of bugs, I have noticed that my Urocyon cinereoargenteus data still seems to be active leading to some especially unique interactions and sensations in the Homo sapiens model. It is pretty easy to navigate around but is something I wanted to note.
Using the Homo sapiens model is pretty intuitive for the most part. The tutorials do a good job at teaching you how to use the model and take care of it. The Homo sapiens model is easier than Urocyon cinereoargenteus in some ways and more difficult in others. For example, Urocyon cinereoargenteus was survival mode, so I had to be sure to meet all of my daily goals or there were consequences. My Homo sapiens model is a lot easier to care for in the daily goals, but it introduced lifetime goals that are significantly harder to achieve. Sometimes you will accidentally set back or completely loose a lifetime goal without realizing it.
All in all I have to say that EarthLife:Homo sapiens gets a 8/10 from me. It isn't perfect, but what is? It is an experience that I am grateful to have.
