OK, tried it for a bit. There's no tutorial. No way of knowing what those icons mean.
I'm thinking Meadow is designed for those who've already played Might & Delight games.
It would be hopeless if not for the Steam Community Guides. Maybe I look for youtube guides too.
I guess the thing to do is run the guides on my laptop next to my desktop in-game.
Probably will work, but so much for just 'simply trying it out casually'.
