I'm curious, what do you all celebrate? What are you plans, if any? Or if you feel like explaining a niche holiday you celebrate, feel free to do so here! I love learning about unique holidays.
I'm not religious but celebrate Christmas since I grew up celebrating it and it's just a fun holiday for me. This is my first year being away from my hyper-religious parents and I'm glad Christmas is super chill with my partner and his family, but we're still definitely gonna have fun on Christmas! I even bought my partner a gift and we made snow globes, one of which we're giving to his mom. I guess on Christmas we're just gonna cook some nice food and hopefully I can convince him to play Minecraft with me, and we'll stream it together! I've only played Minecraft a couple of times and he's never played it at all before, so that's gonna be fun, lmao. There might be some adult beverages involved as well lol.
I'm also drawing some Christmas art for my nephew and my friend from my hometown, which I'll post on NNP when they're done (: Those were the only two people I really felt bad leaving when I moved so I figured I would do something nice for them for Christmas! I wish I had more time to make/draw things for other friends, but hopefully I'll be able to do more next year. I got my partner a really nice cutting board because the one he's had for years is cracking and my friend suggested this $80 one. It's expensive but very high quality and will last forever as long as we don't mess it up! My partner always says he doesn't need gifts and every year I'd still make something for him or draw him something, this is my first year just buying something but I think he will appreciate it.
I'd love to celebrate Yule and other witchy holidays but I don't know how tbh.
