This thread might be dead, but I kind of want to shout out Koga Oogami from Ensemble Stars, who's human bodied but explicitly self-identifies as a wolf and does not get called delusional for it! I kind of love him for this even if he's not a major blorbo.
Wanted to mention a webcomic I just came across in this thread. It's called Roar, Howl, Run, and it's about a rabbit who was raised by a bear. Really resonates with nonhumanity to me, even though all the characters are non-humans with non-human bodies the protagonist Ata's disconnection from the other rabbits she meets and her general species crisis going on was so familiar to me. It's also just a good webcomic, so give it a read.
"I would have thought you to be above something so banal as despair. Am I mistaken?"
Strongest desire literally results in him becoming a chimera of his own making, and during the book, the literal tactic of a succubi to seduce him is... promising to turn him and everyone he loves into a monster
More seriously, his character is a GOLDMINE for nonhuman coding. he turns into a dog because it feels better than a human body in a dream. He's obsessed with monsters because he can't relate to humans. He gets called a monster otaku wannabe by a literal werewolf bc he got disappointed the werewolf was human inside. I love him so much.

I know people here have already stated Animorphs but I would like to go into at least a bit more detail--I've always really resonated with Tobias, the bird stuck boy, and now I understand why I do. He really encapsulates that species struggle at first. And even though he does have that struggle with being an animal at first, eventually he so sinks into being a hawk that even the others comment on how he so clearly feels better as a bird than a boy. Not to mention all the stuff in the books about that limbo between being a human and being a bird. And idk. It was definitely important for me to read, and really stuck with me hard. When I was first trying to figure out my nonhumanity, I called myself a red tailed hawk for a bit. Technically still true, but I don't feel it is as vital to me to state anymore, at least not so long as I don't want to state every single animal I've felt even a bit like (cuz it's well, it's a lot. i'm a shapeshifter).
I really love animorphs so god damn much man. it's so important to me on so many levels god please read it it's all online for free. i will preach about it til the day i die. i mean that's all probably obvious considering my signature, but like, i gotta say it outright too

I second Laios so hard. His species dysphoria is pretty explicitly stated and a big part of the story. I'd also say Lycion (the aforementioned literal werewolf) counts. In-universe he was born human and became a werewolf, the bonus comic explaining this is like textbook species dyphoria and therian awakening.
